After Beverley Hills 90210 finished, 22 year old Shannen was desperate to shake off the goody two shoes image she'd inherited after playing Brenda for so long in the smash hit TV series. So in an effort to avoid being typecast as the cute, sweet girl next door, she immediately got herself a boob job and took a role in a thriller as a young woman who falls for her psychiatrist in Blindfold: Acts of Obsession (1993).

Unfortunately this movie was so bad it halted her film career completely.
